Income from Europa’s concert series provides only a small portion of the substantial amount that it costs to keep the organisation active, supporting its invaluable educational programme. As such, Europa relies heavily on the generosity and support of a number of individuals, businesses and charitable bodies who all share the aims of our mission and who feel passionately about our cause. There are a number of ways in which you can help to support our work and we do hope that you will consider getting involved in whatever way suits your own circumstances.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT - Make a difference

For centuries generous patrons have supported music and education. Although the world has changed a great deal from the time when both of these centred on aristocratic and ecclesiastical institutions, there is still a place for patrons in the twenty-first century. Individuals play a vital role in supporting the work of Europa, ensuring that we can continue our pioneering work. By joining Europa’s group of twenty-first-century patrons at whatever level you can, you can make a real difference to the development of musical education in the UK and further afield.

The Friends of Orchestra Europa
The majority of Europa’s individual supporters give through the ‘Friends of Orchestra Europa’ scheme. This is an ideal way to get involved with Europa at whatever level is appropriate for you and in doing so you will be joining an enthusiastic group of people who are committed to supporting the work of this pioneering organisation. In addition to knowing that you will be making a real difference to Orchestra Europa, friends also receive a number of benefits depending on the level of support you are able to give, and include some of the following:

  • Priority booking for Orchestra Europa concerts and events;
  • Invitations to exclusive friends’ events and concert receptions;
  • Opportunity to meet with players, conductors and guest artists;
  • Access to certain rehearsals and education events;
  • Recognition of support in concert programmes;
  • An opportunity to become closely involved with a revolutionary organisation.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of the benefits that Europa is able to offer its friends and, as with all of our supporters, we are always happy to explore ideas and possibilities with any potential donor. To become a Friend of Orchestra Europa all you need to do is complete a friends’ form which you can find by clicking here. If you would like to talk about the scheme with a member of our development team then contact them at support@orchestraeuropa.org or at our head office.

Founders’ Circle
Orchestra Europa’s Founders’ Circle is a small, exclusive group of individuals who have decided to make a significant commitment to support our work. Not only do founders provide a substantial contribution to the financial running of Europa, but they are also invited, where appropriate, to take an active part in the running of the organisation. Europa tailors benefits to each individual founder, but benefits include complimentary tickets to all Europa events, invitations to exclusive events throughout the year, the opportunity to meet artists and musicians, and the opportunity to attend rehearsals and outreach work, to name but a few. If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of the Founders’ Circle contact Emily Mcleod, Europa’s Development Assistant, at support@orchestraeuropa.org or our administrative headquarters.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

Orchestra Europa provides companies with an ideal way to support the arts and education whilst also giving invaluable market exposure on both a national and international level. We work with all sorts of companies, ranging from small local firms to large, multinational corporations, and we understand that each sponsor gets involved with Europa for different reasons. Europa works with each business on an individual level to find an ideal partnership that delivers maximum return on investment. The benefits for businesses are innumerable, but include:

  • Introducing your business to a wide target audience;
  • Entertaining staff and clients in a unique environment;
  • Meeting musicians and artists of international standing;
  • Network with influential individuals and community leaders;
  • An opportunity to demonstrate your company’s social conscience;
  • The ability to work with a unique and revolutionary organisation dedicated to supporting talented, young people from all backgrounds.

If you are interested in committing your company’s support to Europa then contact a member of our Development or Management teams to explore the possibilities.

FOUNDATION & TRUST SUPPORT

Support from charitable trusts and foundations is crucial for the successful running of Orchestra Europa and forms an important part of the organisation’s financial strategy. Without support from bodies that share our mission and aims it would not be possible for Europa to deliver its educational programmes; we would not be able to keep ticket prices low at concerts to enable all those who wish to attend to do so; we would not be able to reach out to the wider community; and, most importantly, we wouldn’t be able to make a real difference. Europa welcomes support from trusts and foundations at all levels and is always on the lookout for other organisations to add to our list of supporters. If you represent a grant-giving organisation and would like to find out more about working with Europa please contact our Grants Writer, Marcia Bennie, at our head office or at support@orchestraeuropa.org.
