David Corkhill

David Corkhill is one of Britain's most distinguished tympanists and percussionists. He began playing piano at the age of eight and went on to study at Royal Academy of Music, London. David is particularly interested in expanding the chamber music repertoire for percussionists. Amongst his varied work with many ensembles David has most notably conducted the English Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of South Africa, the Jersey Chamber Orchestra, and ensembles from the Philharmonia Orchestra.
